Amanda was born and raised in Virden, IL where she still resides with her husband, Matt. While volunteering for the Animal Protective League of Springfield, IL in 2018, her love for animals grew. Her household consists of a dog and several cats (all of which are rescues). Amanda believes in the moto of “God sent us cats and dogs without wings, so no one would suspect they are angels.”
Amanda has several years of medical experience (veterinary and pharmaceutical) to her name. In 2023 she gained her Undergraduate Certification in Veterinary Practice Management from Penn Foster College. She loves organization, clear communication and helping in the best way she can. Being a Practice Manager has always been the dream for Amanda and she is very pleased to be a part of the West Lake team!
