What to expect during your cat’s visit

Cat reception desk

When you first enter the building, one of our receptionists will greet you and get you and your pet checked in.

Cat waiting area

We want cats to have a Fear Free experience so we put cats into a cats only exam room as soon as possible, and we have a cats only waiting area.

Cat calming towel station

We have towels in the waiting area that can be sprayed with Feliway spray. You can drape the towel over your cat’s carrier to help them feel more calm.

Cat exam room

We have 2 cats only exam rooms with treats, toys, litter boxes for using or hiding, and calming cat towels. A technician will come into the exam room to check you in before the doctor comes in to do your cat’s exam.

Cat tree

We have a cat tree in one of our exam rooms for cats to use if they would like. Some cats prefer to have their exams done on the cat tree.

Cat exam room counter

The counters in our cat exam rooms have Feliway spray, toys, and treats for your pet. Please help yourself!

Cat ward

When your cat stays with us, we have a separate cats only ward. Cats prefer to be off the ground, so the kennels are elevated.

Treatment area

This is our treatment area where we sometimes take patients for certain treatments.

Treatment table

This is our treatment table that we use for cats.

P.S. that’s one of our office cats, Squatch!

Radiograph and ultrasound suite

This is where we perform radiographs and ultrasounds should your pet ever need it.
